There are many ways to help calm us down and tune out the negativity in our lives. One of these ways is called mindfulness – ever heard of it? According to this article from AARP, mindfulness is “a meditative practice that asks us to live in the moment and focus all attention on the present.” It helps reduce stress and depression and can even be helpful for physical pain as well.
