Development Increasing in Minden-Gardnerville

According to an article from the Record Courier, “The first 190 homes included in last year’s controversial Park Ranch Holdings development agreement were approved 4-1 by Douglas County commissioners.”

Additional plans, for both Buckeye Farms Agrihood and Ashland Park, are in the works, which would mean 2,408 new homes. The Douglas County planning commissioners agreed last year to set the development cap at 2,500 homes.

A mindfulness practice can help ease a number of ailments, including stress and anxiety, depression, pain and fatigue, etc. It is even said to help boost your immune system.

Being more mindful can be as simple as taking a stroll to notice the sights, smells, and sounds around you. Even just taking a few moments throughout your day to stop and breathe deeply is beneficial.
